The Mission and Purpose of FUSA
The purpose of FUSA is to promote government, leadership, and service in accordance with the mission of Franciscan University and to enhance the spiritual, educational, social, cultural and physical life of the student body by:
- Maintaining a forum for the expression of student views and interests.
- Representing the Franciscan University student body to the administration, faculty, and public.
- Fostering the recognition of student responsibilities and rights.
- Participating with the administration and faculty in the formulation of policies effecting the student body.
- Establishing, in conjunction with the University, student services and programs.
- Providing a mechanism for the coordination, supervision, and development of student organizations and activities.
- Supervising the allocation of the student activities fee.
